hand printed this serigraph using traditional silk screen printmaking
techniques. For each color in the image she prepares a separate stencil,
which is adhered to a fabric-covered screen. She places fine rag paper
under the screen assembly and applies a non-toxic water based ink on
the top side of the stencil, then forces the ink through the stencil
and onto the paper by pulling a squeegee across the screen. She repeats
this process for each color. The result is a piece of original artwork,
hand made by the artist, expressly for your enjoyment.
